I really like this song. Rie-san figured the love story out like laundry in the washing machine. Happiness and sadness, those all appear and disappear continues spin like a washing machine. Ridiculous, but its true! I like it, really like it!

"For You": Rie Fu New Single

The new one from the cutie Rie Fu. On February 16th, she will be release a new single titled For You. This single became the ending theme of the anime Hourou Musuko.

The music video of the single made such a trip that was recorded by indie. Simple, but very adorable. I like the part where Rie dancing on the bus, she so cute! And when she singing with the band. About the video, Rie also revealed a bit in her blog.

"We completed the filming of the ‘For You’ music video at the end of the year. A lovely bus, your typical road movie, a dance I’ve been dying to do, a noisy band cameo, and all sorts of other details. Your senses will be so stimulated. It’s a clip about me, one with a fresh atmosphere. Since Mr. Director recorded my lives before, and I really loved his style, I’m so glad he created it for me~! Everyone who came together for this collaboration, I thank you from the bottom of my heart."

I instantly love this song since the first heard it. The meaningful lyric, combined with beautiful and easy listening music, and enhanced by Rie's sweet voice. "I wanna cry for you, smile for you, dream for you." Its about doing something for make someone who we love happily. "Anata no tame ni..."

Aaaaaaaaaa~ cant wait for the release day!!

Delofamilia - meteorite night, tonight (live)

Salah satu lagu Delofamilia favorit gue. Kesannya beda ya kalo dibawain secara live. Gaya panggung antara Naoto sama Rie Fu bener-bener beda. Si Nao simpel aja pake jaket sport, sementara Rie tampil memukau dengan dress kelap-kelip. Duduk main piano sambil nyanyi, Rie keliatan anggun banget (>_<). Yah, seperti biasa Nao juga selalu tampil oke dengan gitarnya. Sayangnya, si kameramen jarang banget nge-shot Yoh huhuhu~

Kemaren-kemaren iseng jelajah 4shared.com, eh ketemu lagu ini. Secara yang nyanyi Rie Fu, langsung aja gue download. Lagunya enak, warna musiknya agak reggae gitu. Dan kita bakalan denger suara Rie yang nggak kayak biasanya. Hm... gimana ya? Pokoknya agak beda kalo doi nyanyi buat albumnya sendiri. Ya, dalam lagu ini kan bisa dibilang sifatnya featuring gitu, sama M-Flo yang karirnya udah lumayan panjang di dunia musik Jepang. Mereka punya album series kolaborasi sama beberapa penyanyi cewek kenamaan yang judulnya M-Flo Loves... Singers-nya macam Kumi Koda, BoA, Namie Amuro, Bonnie Pink, dan Rie Fu buat lagu ini.

Pokoknya lagu ini keren. Nilai plus buat Rie Fu dari penggemar beratnya macam saya ^_^

Ini salah satu single jagoan di album baru Rie Fu, at Rie session. Dengan kolaborasi bareng Lily Franky feat. Bose (Schadaraparr) lagu ini jadi keren banget. Masih kental sama warna musik pop, yang dengan briliant-nya dimasukkan unsur rapcore di bagian tengah lagu. Ini belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya dalam lagu-lagu Rie Fu yang udah ada. Dan ekperimennya kali ini bener-bener bagus! Like this~

Rie Fu's New Album

Yeah! Akhirnya penyanyi Jepang kesayangan gue rilis album baru! *kanpai*

Tepat hari ini, Rie Fu ngerilis albumnya yang ke lima, at Rie Sessions. Dalam album ini, Rie berkolaborasi dengan beberapa artis lainnya, seperti Bose (Schadaraparr), curly giraffe, KATKOHEI (Hoi Festa), LEO Imai, NAOTO (orange Range), Honoka Sato, Peter Kvint, Shinko (Schadaraparr), YUI (RHYTHM), Yuka (moumoon), Chris Tomoko, Lily Franky, Sarasa Ifu, Mina Ganaha, Seira, Kenichi Takemoto, Junpei Shiina and Mayumi Fujita. Wah, banyak ya! Para artis yang udah punya nama pula di dunia musik Jepang. (Tapi udah nggak kaget sih kalo ada nama Naoto di sana XD)

Buat versi limited edition-nya disertai bonus DVD berisi video musik dan dokumentari rekaman. Sugoi! Tapi ada 'tapi'-nya nih. DVD-nya cuma berlaku buat region Jepang, Eropa, dan Timur Tengah. Huaaa... Indonesia juga dong! *nangis*

Aih! Jadi nggak sabar nih nikmatin lagu-lagu baru Rie Fu. Dengan kolaborasi bersama various artis, kayaknya musiknya bakal lebih berwarna lagi nih. By the way, kemaren Rie Fu nge-RT tweet gue lho! *nggak penting* XD. Yah, siapa yang nyangka! Lagi sibuk nyiapin perilisan album, tapi masih sempet nyapa para fans-nya di Twitter. Ah~ gue tambah kagum sama Rie Fu. Sukses terus, Rie! Ganbatte kudasai! ^o^

Suara merdunya sudah sering kita dengar di radio-radio. Dua single-nya yang paling banyak di-request adalah Life is Like a Boat dan I Wanna Go To a Place, yang keduanya menjadi soundtrack anime populer (Bleach dan Gundam Seed Destiny). Sejak mendengarkan dua lagu itu pun saya jadi jatuh cinta sama suaranya.

Setelah saya punya beberapa lagunya dari album pertama sampai album terbarunya, saya menjadikannya salah satu penyanyi favorit :) Suaranya lembut dan merdu banget, apalagi dia jago main piano dan gitar, bikin saya makin kagum.

Rie Fu memulai karirnya dengan mengirim demo lagu yang direkamnya dengan tape recorder kecil. Lagu itu dibawakan dengan gitar yang dimainkannya sendiri, bahkan saat itu dia baru mulai belajar bermain gitar (2002). Dia mengirim demo lagu itu ke sebuah sebuah label rekaman (Sony), dan mereka menerimanya. Rie kemudian merilis album debut berjudul Rie Who!? pada Maret 2004.

Lagu-lagu Rie Fu dominan dengan dua bahasa, Jepang dan Inggris. Hanya beberapa lagu yang murni berbahasa Jepang, misalnya Negaigoto dan Anata ga Koko ni Iru Ryuu. Hal ini dikarenakan Rie Fu memang menguasai kedua bahasa tersebut dengan baik.

Sejak berusia 7 tahun, Rie tinggal bersama keluarganya di Maryland, Amerika Serikat. Dia kembali ke Jepang pada 1995 untuk menyelesaikan pendidikan dasar dan menengah pertama di Tokyo. Di SMU, Rie mulai belajar bermain gitar dan piano, tentunya sebaik dirinya membuat lagu.

Rie lulus dari Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London pada 18 July 2007, jurusan yang dipilihnya adalah seni lukis. Sebelumnya, dia memilih desain grafis, namun ketertarikannya beralih pada seni lukis. Dalam website-nya Rie bilang, dia senang menjadi pelajar lagi.

Rie Fu bolak-balik Jepang-Inggris untuk merilis dan mempromosikan lagu-lagunya. Dia menerima tawaran dari label rekaman lokal (Pinnacle Entertainment) untuk merilis sebuah album yang berjudul Who is Rie Fu? pada 3 Maret 2008. Album tersebut awalnya dirilis di Inggris, dan akan diikuti dengan perilisan di negara-negara Eropa lainnya. Hal itu pun akan menandai debutnya di Eropa.

Dengan bakat menyanyi, menulis lagu, serta bermain alat musik yang begitu besar yang dimilikinya, saya yakin Rie Fu bisa go international seperti Hikaru Utada atau penyanyi lainnya. Rie punya suara yang menurut saya disukai semua orang. Lagu-lagunya pasti akan diterima oleh para pecinta musik di dunia. Saa.. ganbatte ne, Rie-san! ^^
